How far are you willing to travel?
We're happy to go anywhere in the UK and we regularly make journeys to places such as Heathrow, London, Birmingham and Yorkshire.

How can I pay?
We accept cash, or cheques with a banker's card; at present we do not have credit or debit card facilities.

Can I ask for a taxi at anytime?
We do not offer an 'on-call' 24-hour service, but if you book your journey with us a few days in advance, we will do our best to meet your requirements.

How can I book Sid Valley Cars?
Simply phone us on 01395 577633. In the unlikely event that you can't get through, leave a message and we'll get back to you as quickly as we can.

What do you charge?
Our fares within the Sidmouth area are specified by the local authority. For longer trips, we would be delighted to give you a no-obligation quote. Our aim to provide an excellent service at a sensible price, and our customers confirm that we are fairly priced.

I am rather infirm; will I be able to get into your taxi?
Our cars are selected for their comfort and ease of accessibility, and we have been able to accommodate successfully our regular customers who have similar difficulties. We have plenty of room in the cars for folding wheelchairs and other mobility aids. This is just one of the benefits of travelling by taxi.

What is your 'wait-and-return' service?
This is ideal for family gatherings or any outing or event where you want to be sure of arriving in time and be able to relax and enjoy the day without worrying about how you're going to get home.

We will pick you up and deliver you, relaxed and in good time. Then we will wait and be available to take you home safely when the event is over. For this we charge for a one-way trip (which depends on the mileage) plus waiting time.

I want to visit the Eden Project: would I need to book you for the whole day, and what would it cost?
This would qualify for our 'wait-and-return' service (see above). The best thing to do is to contact us so that we can discuss the options and costs.
